Creative Piece

The Inspiron Mid Rise Building was a project started and finished in Semester 2 of my course in 2010. It was my first time trying to create a mid rise building using Archicad. I was mainly used to designing buildings with a squarish shape when I started my architecture course in TAFE. However, I decided to revolutionize the exterior shape of my building by curving it. I also decided to implement a mixture of the curtain wall facade with single aluminium panels to make the building look aesthetically pleasing. Overall, I enjoyed taking a new direction in the overall building layout and giving it the glamorous appearance.

Architectural Piece

Situated in Singapore’s Keppel Bay, The Reflection is quite an interesting architectural piece that was built for luxury and recently completed in December 2011. The main intriguing aspect would be the presentation curving of the six towers with the help of the materials, such as steel and glass to provide quite an undulating, yet aesthetically pleasing appearance. Since Reflections is near the waterfront of Marina, it provides its residents and visitors a spectacular view of the Sentosa Island. Photo Taken by me from Sentosa Islands on 24 January 2012.

Photographic Piece Marina Bay - Helix Bridge(Left) to the Singapore Casino/Marina Bay Hotel (Right). What enjoyed in this scenery is the nightlife with the city and the buildings. The Helix Bridge has Colour Changing Lights are also added on the external side of the helix structure to illuminate its spectacular appearance during night for visitors, something I find quite beautiful. We also get a nice view of the habour and the Casino in on the bridge. Overall I enjoy the scenery with combination of the lighting of the buildings with the nightlife in this photo.
